An Iftar party and discussion session were held today, March 8, 2025 (Saturday), at the Dagonbhunia (Feni) Upazila office, organized by the Safe Roads Movement (Nischa).
The event was conducted by the General Secretary of the Safe Roads Movement Dagunbhunia Upazila, journalist Mostafizur Rahman Sohel, with the President, Din Mohammad, presiding over the session. The Chief Guest was Shahidul Alam, the Upazila Commissioner (Land) of Dagonbhunia.
Special guests included Rokon Uddin, the second officer of Dagonbhunia Police Station, Nazir Ahmed, President of BRDB and former Municipal Commissioner, Jasim Uddin Liton, General Secretary of Dagonbhunia Bazaar Business Welfare Association, Golam Rasul Menon, along with members of the organization, political figures, civil society representatives, and media personnel.
After the discussion session, a prayer was conducted by Kamal Uddin, Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dagonbhunia Upazila and the Organizational Secretary of the Safe Roads Movement.
During the discussion, the speakers highly praised the "Safe Roads Movement" as the only awareness-based organization in Bangladesh working for the welfare of the public to ensure road safety. They expressed their commitment to supporting any initiative by this organization.
